Green Mint M&M Cookies

These delcious mint M&M cookies are such a great recipe, especially for St. Patricks day! They are cute, festive, and have the perfect amount of mint and chocolate!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • green food coloring
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup mint m&ms

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. 
  2. Using an electric mixture, mix the butter and sugars together until completely blended.
  3. Add in the egg and the vanilla. Slowly add in the green food coloring until the perfect color is formed. 
  4. Mix in the flour, baking soda, and salt by hand. Overmixing can cause the cookies to flatten. 
  5. Fold in the M&Ms , and scoop the cookie dough onto the parchment paper. Place some extra M&Ms at the top. 
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes, and enjoy.
