Light Pink Nails With White Lines Design
This Light Pink Nails With White Lines Design is a sweet and fun DIY manicure idea. Light pink is a pretty and delicate color choice for nail designs. The abstract white lines add personality to this feminine nail design idea.
How To Do The Light Pink Nails With White Lines Design: Create The Almond Shape
I love to pair organic nail art with softer nail shapes. This nail design looks great on my almond-shaped nails. It would be perfect for oval and round nails too.
To make an almond-shaped nail make a mark or visually mark the middle point of the tip of your nail. Next file the sides of your nails at an arched angle towards the mark – but not directly on it.
You want to leave a bit of a flat tip to round out. Double-check that you are filing both sides equally.
Once the rough shape is to your liking, gently file the flat tip to a rounded-out almond shape. Finish creating the shape by using a fine-grit file to smooth out any rough edges. Almond nails are smooth and seamless.
Light Pink Nails With White Lines Design Tutorial
You’ll need a few items to create this Light Pink Nails With White Lines DIY manicure:
A light pink nail polish
A sheer pink or pink-toned nude nail polish
A white nail art pen
A clear top coat
The first step couldn’t be easier! Paint at least two coats of the light pink polish on the nails that will not have the abstract art. To match my mani, paint only your thumb, ring finger, and pinky nails. Allow the polish to fully dry.

Light Pink Nails With White Lines: Accent Nails with Organic Shapes
To paint the accent nail designs, follow the tutorial for the Pink And Purple Nails Design.
For this specific nail art, start with one or two coats of sheer pink polish (to the level of sheer you prefer). Then, once dry paint two sections of the nail with the light pink polish. I always recommend working one nail at a time and starting at the base of the nail first.
When creating color-blocking nail designs, use sweeping motions when painting, and don’t stress over making the shapes perfect. Color-blocked nail designs are a beautiful way to express your creativity and free spirit.
For this design I chose a balanced look, painting an organic shape on the opposite sides of each nail with the pink polish. I also matched the designs flow on both accent nails.
I chose to paint about forty percent of the total nail space with the pink polish to leave plenty of room to feature the white organic stripes.
Light Pink Nails With White Lines: Painting the Lines
A nail art pen is the easiest way to create line art. If you’re not experienced in using nail art pens, the Purple Nails With Smiley Face And Abstract Design post has great tips!
When doing detailed work, always work on one nail at a time. Prime the nail art pen and carefully draw one organic, sweeping line at a time. Loosely matching the flow of the pink nail polish will create a put-together look on each nail.
